Calla is THREE!!

On December 16th, my little girl turned three. She's come a long way in three years, wouldn't you say?(Click here to see her birth picture.)


This girl is a delight: a wiggly, busy, giggly bundle of joy. I wouldn't have her any other way. Calla adds a big dose of happy to our family.


She's a big sister now, which has been a tremendous adjustment for her in the past month. She is learning to be gentle with Katee and they are beginning to bond--especially during bath time when they giggle and take turns washing each other's arms.


Calla wanted a "puppy party at Grammy's house" for her birthday this year and that is just what she got.

 
I was so thankful Grammy and Papa agreed to host the party this year. Such a blessing during this transition stage of life.


We served a waffle bar for dinner.

 
Topping choices included blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, bananas, Nutella, peanut butter, chocolate chips, butter, syrup, sprinkles, and whipped cream.

 
Of course, there was puppy cake for dessert.


Ian and I agreed that our favorite part of the evening was watching Calla enjoy every bit of her party. In true Calla fashion, she was full of energy!

 
Every time she opened a gift, she broke out into giggles. She loved her FurReal puppy from her cousins.

 
(Unfortunately, poor Katee did not agree!)

 
Surrounded by her family, Calla was celebrated and loved on her special day.


And just like that, my little Calla turned THREE! What a blessing to be her mama. I am thankful for each and every day I have with her.
