On Tuesday evening, a friend showed up unexpectedly and "kidnapped" me for the evening. We met up with another friend and spent the evening eating Asian food (and ice cream!) and shopping for some outfits for China baby.
They spoiled me . . . and her. It was such a special evening and a great distraction from the waiting.

Last month, I was incredibly blessed by many generous women from our summer Bible study. These ladies brought tons of supplies for me to send to my daughter's foster home in China.
It was such a joy to mail that huge box of needed supplies, knowing that it was one small way we could love my daughter from afar and also meet the needs of other babies in her home. I was blown away by their desire to help these children. I felt like I had a baby shower. :)
