'A' is the letter of the week.

These alligator sticks we made the previous week fit in perfectly as a little "extra".

First, we went on a nature walk through the forest and collected sticks that looked like alligators.

After the nature walk/play time, Ori and Calla came inside and painted the sticks green.

Ori simply wanted to paint the tops of the alligator sticks, but Calla meticulously made sure that every piece of stick was painted green. I was shocked by her attention to detail. We added some googly eyes and let them dry. So fun!
Guess who else has been painting sticks?

Yep. Katee.
I about died when I found these pictures last Friday of Katee painting popsicle sticks in China. They are such a treasure.

I also cannot tell you how thrilled I am to see paint all over her little fingers--at 15 months! She's ready to be part of our family! :)
I love, love, love to see my three children painting in the same blog post. Come home, Katee Qing! It will be such a joy to have you making messes and painting with us at our kitchen table.

Levi needs to make alligator sticks! Those are awesome. And I loved seeing all three of your kids in this post too...and all painting sticks! Can't wait to see them making messes together. :)
your heart is amazing! Fun craft/learning activity. Too bad my kids don't have a fun and patient teacher like you as a mom! :)
I am a fan of your blog from MS. In 2 of the pictures calla and Katee's pinky fingers and hands are shaped just alike!
i have goosebumps again, Julie!
