I am still doing cakes and have used the profit to form a medical fund for our daughter. It has truly been a blessing to see God not only provide every penny for our adoption, but also see Him begin to provide for the medical expenses that we will need to address when she comes home. Although not "comfortable," it is exciting to be in a place of dependence on God.
Here are a few of the cakes I have done this summer:

I have officially decided that I thoroughly enjoy summer days with these two. There are so many fun things to do and explore together.

(Sorry about the lack of clothing. We are true "country people" sometimes. Plus, they had paint and shaving cream in the pool. Big hit.)
It is a joy to be their mother.

I'm thankful I can focus on raising/teaching them right now while my heart is aching for my daughter to be home.

They just make me smile. Even on long days of waiting.
